Well it’s been a while since we last posted in this section, so we decided to post something that we found to be an interesting topic for bike lovers (hope you like it too). While cars are safe and more convenient, there’s nothing better than the thrill that a motorcycle can give you. I personally, am a huge fan of Royal Enfield’s motorcycles, and own an RE Himalayan as well. You can find way too many pictures of her on my Instagram account.
Here, we’ve brought to you a list of celebrities who use and love their Royal Enfield bikes:
1) Brad Pitt
Most of you may remember the Oscar winning movie called ‘The Curious Case of Benjamin Button’, starring the handsome Hollywood hunk Brad Pitt. In the picture below, he is pictured riding a Royal Enfield motorcycle through the streets of Varanasi, India.
However, his love for the vehicle is real and he owns a Royal Enfield as well!
2) Gul Panag
You may not see this former Miss Universe beauty Gul Panag on television much these days, but that’s only because she enjoys other activities; one being riding around on her Royal Enfield. Or should I say Royal Enfields? She is an avid Enfield fan and owns a few of their bikes.
She took her love for bikes to the next level when she got married, as the ‘baaraat’ arrived on Royal Enfields bikes as well. Dream wedding, no?
3) Jonty Rhodes
This man was like Superman in his younger days, flying around the field to save runs on the cricket field. He was one of the few who have been known for their fielding and not batting or bowling. Over the years, he’s developed a love for India, and even named his daughter ‘India’. What shows love more than that?
Indian motorcycles are something that he also took a liking towards, especially the Royal Enfield brand. He has been pictured on his bike quite a few times.
4) Varun Dhawan
Varun Dhawan has become the poster boy of Indian cinema over the last couple of years and is enthusiastic about everything that he does. He owns an Enfield and has often been spotted heading to the gym and other places on his motorbike.
He has also been spotted with Bollywood actress and good friend Alia Bhatt on the streets with his bike.
5) Jay Leno
Jay Leno is an American comedian who is mostly known for hosting the Tonight Show for a long period of 17 years. Among the many cars and bike that reside within the Jay Leno garage is an Indian made Royal Enfield Classic Chrome 500.
I know you must be thinking that it may be gathering dust in his garage, he actually does ride it around the place. Reports suggest that he also owns an Enfield Electra.
6) Jackie Shroff
Who doesn’t love this man? While his son Tiger Shroff is now a huge hit in Bollywood, there’s something about Jackie Shroff that makes him a loved man by millions across India. His style, swagger and personality are unmatchable in the industry. Of course, he had to be an owner of an RE too.
His style is visible in his customization of his Enflied, which is named as the ‘Skeletor’. This is probably the wildest bike ever owned by a celebrity, customized by Vardenchi.
7) Kalki Koechlin
This Indian diva took passion for biking to the next level. Kalki Koechlin and her father purchased Royal Enfield Himalayans when they released in 2016 and the two of them did a 4,000+ km trip across Northeast India together. She is a very passionate rider, and I must say, she chose the right bike 😉
Reports say that Kalki was also gifted an upgraded version (BS-IV) of the Himalayan by Royal Enfield.
8) Billy Joel
American songwriter Billy Joel didn’t only make a name for himself in singing, but was also known for his exclusive collection of motor vehicles. Apart from his extensive collection of Harley Davidsons, he also owns a few distinctive Royal Enfields, from classics to cafe racers.
Trust me, you would love to get a tour of his garage! ?
9) John Abraham
Bollywood star John Abraham was one of the first huge bike lovers that emerged in India, especially after his movie ‘Dhoom’. Like Indian cricketer MS Dhoni, John too owns a wide range of bikes. Apart from his Yamahas, he owns a Royal Enfield as well.
The difference? Much like Jackie Shroff’s bike, John’s is is a customized one built by Rajputana Customs. Its name – Light foot.
10) Nana Patekar
This Indian actor was famous for his roles in a countless number of Hindi and Marathi films, and he was known for his brilliant comic timing. The actor may not have been spotted in too many films of late, but he sure has been spotted on his Desert Storm 500 a few times!
