Despacito, Shape of You, See You Again, Gangnam Style. We all know that these are not only famous songs, but are also the top four most viewed music videos on the popular music streaming website, YouTube. Not just music videos, but these are the top four most watched videos (of any kind) on YouTube, with Despacito hitting over 5.2 billion views worldwide.
Recently, Swag Se Swagat became the most viewed Hindi music video on YouTube, with over 430 millions hits. The song was the highlight of the recent Katrina Kaif and Salman Khan starrer, Tiger Zinda Hai. The video overtook Nashe Si Chadh Gayi, from the Ranveer Singh and Vaani Kapoor film, Befikre.
The hit Sallu song overtook Nashe Si Chadh Gayi yesterday, a video that has around 424 million views (as of 17th May 2018). Of course, these videos are no comparison to the worldwide hits, but it’s still quite a lot, considering that a large majority of these views come from just one country – India.

Of course, when you think of blockbusters and the best hits in the country, you have to think of Salman Khan, the ultimate entertainer. It was only right that the most viewed Hindi music video was a Bhaijaan video. Interestingly, the music of both songs Swag Se Swagat and Nashe Si Chadh Gayi was composed by Vishal and Shekhar, while both were produced by Yash Raj Films. Salman fans will now be waiting for his next big hit which is releasing soon – Race 3!
