Just revealed: British actor Colin Firth and Italian wife Livia Giuggioli have recently revealed that they were secretly separated in 2015. Read more for the full story!
Colin Firth is a well known English actor, who starred in Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice, Bridget Jones’ Diary, and most recently in the Kingsman movie series. His role in the Kingsman movies perfectly depicts how stylish and dignified he is as a human being as well. However, he has recently had to face some scandalous news.
His long time wife, Italian film producer Livia Giuggioli, who he married in 1997, is said to have cheated on him with her ‘stalker’. Back in 2015, the couple had secretly separated as Livia was having an affair with journalist Marco Brancaccia. Brancaccia, 55, has also been mentioned as an ‘old friend’.

This however, was completely denied by Brancaccia, saying that he was called a ‘stalker’ because the couple were scared to make the news of this affair public. He also mentioned that Livia wanted to leave her husband for him. Here are his exact words:
“My ‘stalking’ consisted of two messages via WhatsApp after she ended our relationship in June 2016, and an email. I wrote an email to Colin about my relationship with Livia, which I now regret sending, and she filed a complaint against me for stalking out of fear that I could go public with what she had revealed to me about her marriage and work. In a year she sent me hundreds of messages of love, photos and videos, even a diary.”
