‘Game of Thrones’ to Return in April 2019?

Maisie Williams who is playing the role of Arya Stark in HBO’s epic fantasy drama ‘Game of Thrones‘ (GOT) knowingly or unknowingly revealed the date of airing the first episode in the final season.

HBO earlier in the first week of January announced that the final season will be aired next year (2019) but hadn’t specified the exact month as yet. Arya Stark revealed in an interview to a News Paper that the first episode of Game of Thrones final season will be aired in Arpil 2019.

We wrap in December and we air our first episode in April (2019). That’s a four-month turnaround for these huge episodes. There’s a lot that goes into the final edit. You would not want to rush this season at all,” Williams said to a newspaper. “We owe it to our audience and our fans to really do this final season to the best of our abilities,” she added.

Many were frustrated to know that there are no GOT episodes in 2018 but the fans across the globe can now feel happy after the announcement from Arya Stark herself. However, this date can always be pushed back until the official announcement is made by the makers.

The final season of this fantasy show is said to have 6 episodes, each of which could run for around an hour or even more. It was earlier announced that the final season of GOT will be shot with multiple endings just to avoid the story leaking in advance.
