The Flash Season 4 Episode 1 – Flash Rebirth

This fall is going to be very exciting for ‘The Flash’ fans all over the world. One of the most popular TV shows and DC’s superhero The Flash (Barry Allen) is returning back to television. The show has been renewed for the fourth season as ordered in January 2017 and the first episode was aired on October 10, 2017.

Here is the confirmed cast for Season 4:

  • Grant Gustin as The Flash (Barry Allen),
  • Candice Patton as Iris West (Journalist),
  • Keiynan Lonsdale as Wally West ( Kid Flash ),
  • Jesse L. Martin as Joe West (Detective),
  • Danielle Panabaker as Caitlin Snow (Killer Frost),
  • Carlos Valdes as Cisco Ramon (The Vibe).

From ‘Flashpoint‘ to ‘Finish Line‘, The Flash Season 3 took its legend, Barry Allen, through different enthusiastic states in the wake of choosing to spare his mother toward the end of season 2. Last season, Barry was up against the most powerful villain ‘Savitar (God of Speed)’ who was way too fast and powerful, because it was evil Barry Allen who was created while defeating ‘Zoom‘ in season 2 . The highs and lows finished with a sacrifice of Harrison Wells (HR); Barry surrendered his life to the speed force for his slip-up.

Flash Season 4, Episode 1:

Barry Allen aka The Flash is gone into the speed force and it has been over six months. Iris promises Barry that she will be strong and now leads the Team Flash or you could say Team Kid Flash or Team Vibe. Cisco Ramon and Wally West has taken charge of saving the central city with help of CCPD (Central City Police Department) detective Joe West.

The Flash Season 4 episode 1 villain is a Samurai looking for The Flash who is prison in the speed force. Kid Flash, Vibe and Detective Joe try to stop this evil but he is far more powerful. His swords draw power that can blast off a small perimeter around him. Cisco thinks that this samurai is far more powerful and it is time that the team should free Barry from the speed force. Caitlin Snow (Killer Frost) joins Cisco in helping him modify the speed force Bazooka that was created to trap Savitar in season 3.

Bazooka’s test did not go as expected but somehow Barry escaped the speed force and was running through central city. Flash was back but not in his senses because of being in the speed force for six months. Samurai was really very eager to meet the Flash but since Barry was not in his senses, Iris gave herself up to him hoping that Barry will come to save him. Joe told Barry about Iris and the much awaited climax that fans waited for so to see the Flash running and saving people came true.

It is always a great to watch Grant Gustin in that red suit running around the central city saving lives. Also, you get to see the glimpse of the Season 4 main villain at the end of the episode. So the good news is that The Flash is back and he is in his senses.

There are few questions about the message inscribed by The Flash on the walls in poly-alphabetic cipher language like Greek. Hope we get the answers about it in coming episodes of The Flash Season 4.
