Bring back all those childhood memories and get ready for what’s going to be an absolutely entertaining sequel to a movie that has been close to our hearts for years. Especially those who were born in the 1990’s and early 2000’s, this is one movie that you wouldn’t want to miss for the world – Toy Story 4. Just a couple of hours ago, Disney-Pixar released the official synopsis and teaser-trailer for Toy Story 4.
It was way back in 1995 when Walt-Disney pictures presented the first edition of the Toy Story series. It all began over two decades ago when we fist heard “To Infinity and Beyond”. Little did we know that we would all love it so much and that 23 years later, we’d be left in awe with the official trailer of Toy Story 4, the fourth film of the series.

When toys came to life and the first movie received an overwhelming response (including an 8.3 rating from IMDb), the kid’s animation-comedy movie series was set to release another movie produced by Pixar Animation Studios for Walt Disney Pictures. Indeed, Toy Story 2 was out in 1999 and this movie was equally well received, gathering a high rating of 7.9 on IMDb.

It took over a decade before Pixar and Disney could join hands together again for the third edition of the Toy Story film series. Once again, your favourite toys Woody and Buzz Lightyear returned with another mission of returning home after the toys were mistakenly delivered to the wrong address. With the voices of Tom Hanks and Tim Allen, Toy Story 3 (2010) turned out to be another whopping success, receiving an 8.3 rating on IMDb.

Well, get set again as the Toy Story 4 teaser and official trailer is out, along with a small description of the plot. This time, we can’t give you any ratings or can’t promise it will be a good movie, but we do know that every Toy Story fan in the world must watch it to bring back those old memories and complete the series started over twenty years ago. However, Pixar-Disney has introduced a small little twist in the tale – FORKY.
Who’s Forky, you might ask? “The world of Toy Story is built upon the idea that everything in the world has a purpose. A toy’s purpose is to be there for its child. But what about toys that are made out of other objects? Forky is a toy that Bonnie made out of a disposable spork, so he’s facing a crisis. He wants to fulfill his purpose as a spork, but now has a new toy purpose thrust upon him,” said Director Josh Cooley.
Here’s a little synopsis provided along with the Toy Story 4 official teaser trailer:
“Woody has always been confident about his place in the world and that his priority is taking care of his kid, whether that’s Andy or Bonnie. But when Bonnie adds a reluctant new toy called “Forky” to her room, a road trip adventure alongside old and new friends will show Woody how big the world can be for a toy.”
In short, Woody and his friend Buzz Lightyear will embark on a quest to find Woody’s romantic interest, Bo Peep, in what promises to be an interesting and adventurous movie. The film is set for a June 2019 release in the USA, and we have enough of time to build up some excitement until then. Check out the Toy Story 4 official Teaser-Trailer:
