BREAKING: Ed Sheeran Cancels Asia Tour Dates

UPDATE: The singer has confirmed that he won’t play live in the Asia segment of his tour. Fans are disappointed with him. However, the India shows will take place as scheduled.

Ed Sheeran is currently one of the better singers/songwriters around the world, with hit singles like ‘Shape of you‘, ‘Thinking out loud‘ and more. News broke out today morning that the British singer was involved in a small accident a while back.

Earlier, Ed was busy cycling down a street in London when he was involved in this accident. News spread that Sheeran was cycling when a car banged into him and the singer needed to be rushed to a nearby hospital. Later, news came out that he has broken his arm.

The 26-year old singer is about to go on tour and the injury caused by this accident will impinge his ability to play the guitar in upcoming shows and concerts. There is no official word out on whether shows will be postponed, cancelled, or whether they will take place as scheduled.

As Ed Sheeran fans would’ve been desperate to know more updates on this accident, he took to social media to give his fans an update. Along with an upload of his broken arm on his Instagram account, he said this:

“Ive had a bit of a bicycle accident and I’m currently waiting on some medical advice, which may affect some of my upcoming shows. Please stay tuned for further news. Ed x”

Ed’s performances were scheduled to begin on 22nd October in Taipei, followed by shows in South Korea, Japan, Hong Kong and other parts of Asia. What is the future of these shows, we don’t know as yet.
