Chester Bennington: American singer and songwriter, known around the world as the front-man for the immensely popular rock band Linkin Park. He was also lead singer for the groups Dead by Sunrise and Stone Temple Pilots from 2013 to 2015.
Chester was a very popular figure not only in the United States of America, but he had global fans as well. We at Read Scoops have to bring you the very shocking news that not very long ago, singer/songwriter/actor Chester Bennington was found dead at his residence.
TMZ was the first to have reported this sad news, and they said that the Linkin Park singer was found hanging at his Palos Verdes residence in Los Angeles on Thursday, 20th July 2017. The Los Angeles coroner later confirmed TMZ reports that Chester had indeed taken his own life and committed suicide.
Chester had his own way of saying goodbye. He committed suicide on the same day that would be his close friend Chris Cornell’s 53rd birthday. Cornell had also committed suicide just a couple of months back – May 2017 🙂

According to reports, Chester had long struggled with addiction to drugs and alcohol, and has left behind spouse Talinda Ann Bentley, who he married in 2006. He was also married earlier to Samantha Marie Olit (1996-2005) and will be succeeded by five children. The reason for having committed suicide is yet to be known.
