PCB Blasters Women won the first game of the Pakistan T20 Women’s Championship at the National Stadium in Karachi against PCB Dynamites, and the former now plays PCB Challengers Women. Blasters scored 144/5 in their 20 overs after batting first and restricted Dynamites to just 119/7, winning the opening fixture by 25 runs.
Challengers is led by the national team captain Bismah Maroof and they’re going to be a tough team to get past especially since Blasters will have tired feet, playing two games on the trot now. PCB Blasters Women
I went on to pick Aliya Riaz as the captain of my fantasy side in the last game and she went on to score 27 runs while also taking 2 wickets in the opening game. However, there’s not much of information on these games and with her fantasy points from that game, everyone will want her in their teams now. I’ll pick her but I’ll pick Javeria Khan as my captain who has nothing but 200 international games’ experience.
With the ball, Anam Amin has been consistently finding the wickets, having a good recent tour against England Women and Bangladesh Women before that too. She picked 2 wickets in the first game of this triangular T20 championship. Natalia Pervaiz has only 5 wickets in her last 10 professional games but she picked 1 in the last game and also bats in the lower middle order, so could be a good fantasy pick.
PCB Challengers Women
First pick from this team can be the captain Bismah Maroof who has the experience of 200+ international games. She has 4 fifties in her last 10 games and has been doing a lot of bowling too, meaning she could be your fantasy side’s captain or vice-captain. Another prolific all-rounder in this side is Nida Dar who also has 150+ international games, picking 6 wickets in her last 3 professional bowling outings.
18-year old Fatima Sana is one of the most exciting players to come from the youngest batch and she should definitely be a part of your MyFab11 (sign-up with code “READAD46“) fantasy team. She has only 4 wickets in 6 international games so far, but has been rocking it in the domestic circuit, picking 4/60 against NZ U-17’s Women a few months back.
