2006 was the last time Gregory Strydom played an international cricket game. Having played at the highest level in the past, we were sure he would do well for his new country and he did so, top scoring with 49(34) against Canada. Pick him again. Captain Omar Willis failed with the bat with just 1(4) but he’s sure to play, so I’ll be picking him as a batsman as well, who also bowls from time to time.
All-rounders are key in T20 cricket and that’s why Paul Manning should also be a part of your fantasy team. He bats in the lower middle order and he failed with a golden duck in the last game, but he has hitting abilities. To add to that, he bowled a double-wicket over and ended with figures of 2/3, so don’t miss this player. Conroy Wright picked up 2/34 against Canada and he can be a decent pick as well.
USA
Many players from this side played in the Global T20 Canada 2019 and a loss was least expected. One of them is Hayden Walsh Jr and the confidence he possesses is brilliant. He piked up 1/25 and then almost took his team home with his knock of 21(18), so I’ll be picking him for his all-round abilities.
It’s safe to say that Steven Taylor is the best batsman in the USA squad so he can’t be missed in your PlayerzPot (Use Code “READ1234”) fantasy team. Fewer teams will be selecting him after his duck in the last game, but his all-round abilities are massive.
