Another three games have been scheduled tonight in the 2019 Regional Super50 Cup in the Caribbean. One of the strongest domestic teams in this region has to be Trinidad and Tobago across all formats. They began this 2019 campaign with a victory and they now top Group B having completed an easy 8-wicket victory over Windward Islands in their opening fixture.
They now play Guyana who is just behind them with 1 win in 1 game, having beaten WI Emerging Team by 2 wickets in their opening game. Another game which will begin simultaneously is that between WI Emerging and USA in Tarouba. - Yannick Ottley – 2/64 in recent warm-up game against England.

Trinidad and Tobago
The Trinidad team will be led by bowler Imran Khan and he has had a brilliant year so far with wickets across all formats. The 35-year old picked 6 wickets in his last 3 CPL 2019 games and picked 2/28 in the opening game here in the 2019 Super50 Cup. Another player you can add to your team’s bowling department could be Yannick Ottley who got 2/32 in that game, being the highest wicket-taker for Combined C&C last year.
With the bat, Jeremy Solozano and Darren Bravo scored centuries to get their team to victory in the last game. Darren is one of the most popular names in the squad and he will be picked by all. However, he had only 2 double-digit scores in his last 10 games prior to this, so I’d gamble and keep him out. As for Solozano, he has been consistent in the last few months and is a must-have. X-factor player – Jason Mohammed.
First Guyana player to include in my Nostragamus (sign-up with “READSCOOPS” for Rs.100 FREE) fantasy team will be Chandrapaul Hemraj who is coming off a fantastic CPL 2019 season. He got only 18 in the first game and went wicketless but bowling 9 overs and opening the innings a lot of involvement in the game. Wicket-keeper batsman Kemol Savory top scored with 71(146)* in the last game.
Leon Johnson bagged a duck in the last game but he will be in my team as he’s had a few fifties for Guyana in recent months. In the bowling department, I’m going to go with the most experienced duo in Ronsford Beaton and Veerasammy Permaul, picking 2 and 3 wickets respectively in the last game. Permaul had 42 wickets in 10 games in the most recent 4-day domestic season.
