I love picking all-rounders in T20 cricket and while Eimear Richardson hasn’t been very good with the bat in recent games, she scored 63(41)* in the opening game of the series yesterday, to go with 5 wickets in her last 10 games, including 2/13 in this last game against Netherlands. She’s always in the action and is a good pick to bring you valuable fantasy points today.
17-year old Orla Prendergast is another good pick as she opens the batting and bowling both, so there’s plenty of fantasy points at stake once again. In the last game, she failed with the bat scoring only 9 but she shone with the ball, bowling a brilliant spell of 2/15 on her international debut for Ireland.
Thailand Women
Thailand Women used as many as 7 bowlers in the first game and none completed their quota of 4 overs, so be careful while selecting here. I would add Suleeporn Laomi to my Nostragamus (sign-up with “READSCOOPS” for Rs.100 FREE) fantasy picks as she was the only bowler to begin her fourth over and she also ended with good figures of 2/16 in 3.4 overs, so she seems to be a real wicket-taker.
Another good option with the ball is Onnicha Kamchomphu who ended with amazing figures of 4/8 in the last game and she even had similar figures of 4/6 against Bhutan earlier this year. With the bat, Nattakan Chantam top scored with 60(49), bringing up her 2nd fifty in 23 T20Is. However, I’ll choose opening partner Naruemol Chaiwai who scored only 5 in the last game but also has 2 fifties and more career runs in her 23 T20Is.
