WATCH: Mitchell Starc Pulls Down Nathan Lyon’s Pants

The 2nd Test match between Australia and India has displayed some of the best cricketing action we have all got to witness in many months. It has had everything from lethal bouncers to batsmen getting hit, to brilliant catches and loose dismissals, and even to the occasional sledging among the players.

All in all, it has been a brilliant Test so far, with Australia in the driving seat at the end of Day 4. When the teams come out tomorrow, Australia will be looking to pack up early with just 5 wickets needed to win and level the series 1-1, while India needs 175 runs to secure victory and take a 2-0 lead.

An Indian victory however, from here, looks highly unlikely, especially since they’ve lost both their batting mainstays, Kohli and Pujara. With Hanuma Vihari and Rishabh Pant out there, you would say that this is the last recognized pair in the middle and unless they come out tomorrow and complete a 100-run partnership for the 6th wicket, all hopes seem lost for the Indians.

Mitchell Starc pulls down Nathan Lyon's pants on camera

Taking the topic off the hard-fought game, there was something that took place earlier in the test that would light up everyone’s mood. Left-arm pacer Mitchell Starc is not usually known for displaying his humourous side too much on the field, but this incident paints a different picture altogether.

They call Nathan Lyon the G.O.A.T. and while Lyon was being interviewed on the ground, Starc decided to take a sprint towards the off-spinner and yank down his pants. All this was captured on camera, but what was the funniest was not Starc’s actions, but Lyon’s reaction. Guess what he did?

Nothing!

Nathan Lyon calmly decided to just pull up his shorts and continue answering questions like nothing at all happened. All in all, a very funny moment among all the intense cricket taking place at Perth in the last 4 days. Take a look at the video:

When the players take the field tomorrow, we will know whether the visitors take a 2-0 lead, or the home team decides to draw level. For more updates on India’s tour of Australia, keep following ReadScoops.com.
