Gujarat Haryana end up in tie, Telugu lost their fourth game

Hyderabad, 02 Aug:  Two match were played today in Vivo Pro Kabaddi League 2017 at Gachibowli Indoor Stadium in Hyderabad, the first match between Gujarat Fortunegaints and Haryana Steelers ends in tie (3 points each). In the second game between Telugu Titans and Bengal Warriors, it was a 6 points win for Bengal

Match Number 9, Gujarat Fortunegaints v Haryana Steelers ended in a thrilling draw with both side scoring 27 – 27. Gujarat Fortunegaints had a great start in the first half Rakesh Narwal played really well and at the end of the first half the score was 11 – 8. A successful raid form the captain Sukesh Hegde in the second half had put Gujarat Fortunegaints in the driving seat and the lead was 21-13 in the 11′ of later half. Vikash Khandola who struggled in first half displayed some great skills and it helped Steelers to end the match in draw.

The second game was played between the home team Telugu Titans and Bengal Warriors who were playing their first game of Vivi Pro Kabaddi League 2017. In both the half Bengal Warriors were in lead and didn’t allow Titans to dominate them. The second game was all about Manindar Singh who scored 11 points both in raid and defense leading his team Bengal Warriors towards victory. The final score of the match was 24 – 30.

This was the fourth defeat for Telugu Titans and that too in their home ground. They have to play exceptionally well from the next game if they want to qualify in Pro Kabaddi Semi’s.
