The first match today was played between Bengal Warrior from Zone B and Puneri Paltan from Zone A. Remember this are inter zone games that are being played here at The Arena in Gujarat, more like a crossover. Puneri Paltan has played really well so far with just one defeat out of 3 games and same with Bengal Warriors.

The match was expected to be a tough fight between Warriors and Paltan. It was a good start from warrior but then Puneri Paltan defense played really well and the first half score was 10 – 17. Coming into the second half Pune were complete in rush of scoring points and they defeated Bengal with a margin of 17 points, double the score of warriors.

It was a “Lay Bhari” win for Puneri Paltan:

The second game that was played today was between the two table toppers, home team Gujarat Fortunegiants from Zone A and Bengaluru Bulls from Zone B. The competition was really tough and it was the Panga match of the day

The first few minutes of the Initial half was a slow paced game where both teams were playing a defensive game. But it was the Bengaluru Bulls defender Kuldeep Singh who showed some strong tackles completing a Hi-Five in this game and the end of the first half Bulls were leading with 5 points ( 9- 14 ).

In the second half it was the Gujarat Lions defense that change the course of the game but this time it was Sunil Kumar and Parvesh Bhainswal covers doing the job for Gujarat with some support from Abozar. In the raiding department Sachin and all rounder Rohit Gulia have taken the charge. In the end it was a great come back from Gujarat and the final score was 27 – 24, Gujarat won by just 3 points.
