UP Yoddha is the new team that was included in the Pro Kabaddi League this year. Given option, Yoddha’s were the only franchise that did not pick any player of choice before the start of Auction. Nitin Tomar was the highest paid player that was bought during the Pro Kabaddi Auction by UP Yoddha for INR 93 Lakhs.

Lets take a look at team composition in different departments:
Raiders
Up Yoddha’s has best raiding combination which includes star players like Nitin Tomar, Rishank Devadiga, Mahesh Goud, Surender Singh. Nitin Tomar has 110 raid points out of 115 points in Pro Kabaddi League. Along with Nitin, experienced campaigner and local boy from Mumbai Rishank Devadiga is the key player.
There are also few names in raiders department that could provide the necessary support as the league progress. Ajvender Singh, Gulveer Singh, Sulieman Kabir will provide the strength in raiding department.
Defenders
Yoddha’s have a very inexperienced Defenders in their squad, most of them will debut in Pro Kabaddi League 2017. Still they have the best Right Corner Hadi Tajik from Iran who played well in the 2016 International Kabaddi World Cup. Jeeva Kumar is the real asset of the team, he can play right and left cover for the team according to the combination on the kabaddi mat. Jeeva has almost 50% successful tackle in Pro Kabaddi League.
Rohit Kumar, Nitesh Kumar, Gurvinder Singh, Sanoj Kumar and Santosh B.S. will debut in Pro Kabaddi this season.
All Rounders
Rajesh Narwal known as ‘Angry Young Man‘ has the responsibility of providing strength in defense. Rajesh Narwal has both the quality of a raider and defender and provides team with flexible options. Sagar B. Krishna young talent hasn’t played much in Pro Kabaddi League but this all rounder is also a very good defender.
Pankaj and Sunil are yet to play in Pro Kabaddi League.
